Easter Blog Hop

I’ve teamed up with some talented Instagram friends to bring you a Easter Decor Tour! Come along!

Ive always loved decorating for Easter/Spring! The colors and season are always so soothing and inviting.

This year, I mixed my rustic/antique vibe with pastel colors. You know “I always use  the pieces I already have in my house”. That’s my main focus and goal!

For my tablescape, I did buy a few new items, such as the cute bunny table runner ($7.99, Big Lots) and the little plastic eggs.

I wanted to use white as much as I can for the centerpiece, since it’s a big neutral color, so I grabbed all the white pitchers I had around the house. I added the bunny, plastic eggs, and bunny garland for pops of color. I filled the pitchers with fresh tulips (what shouts Easter more then tulips right)! It’s also going to be fun refilling the pitchers with fresh flowers during the season. Maybe I’ll use a different color tulip or throw in a different flower….oh the possibilities!

I used a beige macrame place mat ($1.98 each from Walmart) layered with a white plate, then the napkin, lastly topped with the bunny plate (pack of 4 from Home Goods, $10).

The glass shaped eggs are just for show, I wanted to add a cute detail, those are filled with plastic pastel colored eggs (Target dollar spot)

I’m also having fun switching out the napkins. I originally had the Home Sweet Home napkins (from Marshall’s, pack of 4 for $6) But when I saw the pastel colored ones (Target dollar spot) I couldn’t resist, I thought they’d go perfect with my tablescape. When I decorate my table for any holiday, I always have fun changing out the plates or napkins, do you do the same thing??

I wanted to show you a few more pieces of my home where I mixed my rustic/antique love with Spring.

The Saloon sign sits on a rustic shelf in my kitchen. I added the pretty bunny and pink flowers to give a Easter vibe.

My tier tray is filled with colorful fake grass from my kids Easter baskets and a few glittered eggs. I always add a little bit of greenery to my tier along with an antique piece, the rolling pin!

I hung that little Easer sign and added more pink flowers to this beautiful rusty antique rake. There’s so much you can do with an old rake head.

 

Lastly here is my gallery wall, I kept the Easter decor very simple here, since this area is already busy. I added the plastic egg garland, the simple white bunny, and the Easter sign in the basket. The egg garland is the perfect pop of spring color, don’t you think??
